DAA Indivisible: Recess Coming Up – Town Hall?

The House will be in recess from Oct. 16-20.Perfect time for Congressman Knight to hold a town hall and share his reasons for not voting to extend CHIP. the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), upon which 9 million children rely.CHIP is a federal-state partnership where the federal government provides most — or in some cases, all — of the funding necessary to cover uninsured children.CHIP funding.  The Congressman needs to share his perspective on the Las Vegas tragedy and common sense gun restrictions.  He needs to let us know whether he will co-sponsor a DACA extension for 760,000 immigrant youth,  or whether he wants to send ICE to deport them…somewhere, because home is here, or hold them in concentration camps.  What’s going on with North Korea, and is he in favor of abdicating Congress’ constitutional war making authority? What is his plan with regard to taxes, and does he support the Republican plan that raises the rate for the lowest bracket from 10% to 12%, and depends upon a budget that cuts Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition) and more?  We have a whole bunch of questions about this plan, and we deserve thoughtful answers.  I’m sure you have some additional questions

So, let’s call the Congressman…I’ll keep reminding you because more than one call is warranted if we don’t get an answer.  If he doesn’t show up, we’ll have to have our own town hall with an empty chair.

Ask something like:

When and where is the town hall planned for the coming recess?
