Indivisible Alert – Resolution to Repeal the FCC Privacy Provision

Normally I stick with one suggested call a day, but this is BIG. We are one vote away from a world where your Internet Service Providers or ISP (Verizon, AT&T, etc) can track your every move online and sell that information to the highest bidder.  Republicans are set to vote to destroy Obama’s online consumer privacy rules. The House is expected to begin debate today on S.J. Res. 34, a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to repeal the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) privacy provision, As one internet wonk said: “Congress should know by now that when you come for the internet, the internet comes for you,”  They’re trying to get a win on this, and it directly affects you.  So, pick up that phone let the Congressman know WE ARE WATCHING.

So, call Congressman Knight’s office and say: Please vote against the resolution to repeal the FCC privacy provision.
